National Harbor is an urban area situated on the banks of the Potomac River in Prince George's County, MD that opened in the spring of 2008. It features luxurious residences, lavish hotels, unparalleled shopping, fine dining and entertainment. During its construction, Imperial Stone Paving installed over 200,000 square feet of concrete, brick, and granite pavers for eleven of the 15 buildings that make up the initial phase of National Harbor. Some of the highlights for these projects include a 39,000 square foot plaza at the waterfront, 32,500 square feet of concrete paver crosswalks, and 17,000 square feet of pavers inside the seventeen story tall atrium of the prestigious Gaylord National Harbor Hotel and Convention Center. We held seventeen contracts with six different General Contractors and Subcontractors for the eleven projects that we completed. Our experience, skill and field capacity allowed us to deliver all eleven projects on time, with the majority of our work beginning in February of 2008 and finishing April 1st of 2008.
