Waterfront Park @ The Yards
Waterfront Park at The Yards is located on the corner of 4th Street SE and Water Street SE in Washington, DC, just a few blocks from the Nationals Baseball Park. It is one of the first sections of the Southeast Waterfront Revitalization effort headed up by Forest City and the DC Government. Waterfront was one of our more complex jobs with scopes ranging from concrete and granite pavers to precast and IPE benches. The short installation schedule of just three months required a coordinated effort within our firm, with our suppliers and with other contractors on the project. Our work included over 50,000 square feet of Hanover Prest Concrete Pavers and granite pavers from Cold Spring Granite. The project included the design and installation of 59 Curved Precast Concrete Cantilever Benches. We also provided and installed specialty site accessories which included custom IPE Tables, Benches, Lounge Chairs and Canopies, all supplied by Landscape Forms.
